USAF Launches 11th GPS-IIF Satellite; 1 More Planned In Series

A U.S. Air Force has launched its 11th current-generation global positioning system satellite, reports Space News.
The successful launch on Saturday was announced by the Air Force Space Command.
The Boeing-built GPS-IIF satellite was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on board a United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket, said the service.
The Space Command plans to launch one more GPS IIF satellite, probably in February of 2016.
