The U.S. Air Force has commenced operations at a new base in central Niger, reports Air Force magazine. The Nigerien Civil Aviation Authority and Nigerian air force reached an agreement with the U.S. Air Force on Aug. 1 permitting limited flights under visual flight rules from Air Base 201, near the village of Agadez.
