US$97 Million Deal Covers 7 Leguan Armored Bridge-Layers For Military

The German defense procurement agency has awarded a contract to Krauss-Maffei Wegmann for armored bridge-laying vehicles, according to a release from the German defense firm.
The 88 million euro (US$97 million) deal covers seven Leguan bridge vehicles, based on the Leopard 2 tank chassis, transport systems, training simulators and related equipment.
Deliveries are scheduled between 2018 and 2021, KMW said on Friday.
