US$6 Billion Deal Sealed With Italy For 7 Warships

Qatar's foreign minister said on Wednesday that his country has finalized a major naval procurement deal with Italy, reports the Middle East Eye.
The US$5.9 billion deal covers seven warships and falls under a bilateral military cooperation agreement, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said.
The deal was announced in Doha in a joint news conference with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano.
