US$333.5 Million Contract Covers Mass Production Of New Domestic UAVs

The South Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has awarded a US$333.5 million contract to the Korean Air Aerospace Division (KAL-ASD) for the mass production of a new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), reports Flight International.
The deal covers mass production of the KUS-7 UAV, with deliveries to be completed in 2020, reported the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The KUS-7 can fly as high as 6,560 feet (2,000 m) and has an operational radius of 30 miles (50 km),...
