US$2 Billion Deal Finalized For Su-35 Warplanes From Russia

China has signed a contract for two dozen Russian Su-35 fighter jets, reports Tass (Russia).
The deal, estimated to be worth US$2 billion, was announced Thursday by the director general of the Rostec state-owned holding corporation.
"China has officially become the first foreign contractor of the Su-35 aircraft," Sergey Chemezon told Russia's Kommersant business newspaper.
The aircraft is also designated Flanker-E+ -- and considered a "4++ generation" jet, noted RT.
