The U.S. government has decided to place additional equipment in emergency storage in Israel over the next two years, reports Haaretz.
The equipment, estimated to be worth US$400 million, could be used by Israel in a crisis, officials said.
The move is expected to bring the value of U.S. military equipment stockpiled in Israel to US$1.2 billion by 2012.
