U.S., Uzbekistan Pledge Greater Cooperation With Kabul

Senior officials from Afghanistan, the U.S. and Uzbekistan have pledged to increase cooperation in a number of areas, reports Tolo News (Afghanistan).
Acting Afghan Foreign Minister Mohammed Haneef Atmar, Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale met virtually on Wednesday.
The talks covered mutual issues of concern including political ties, security and economic and human development.
