U.S. troops have begun redeploying from northeastern Syria to Iraq, reports CNN.
On Monday, more than 100 U.S. military vehicles were observed crossing into Duhok province in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Approximately 500 troops were withdrawn from an airfield outside the town of Kobani (Ayn Al-Arab), said U.S. officials.
Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Saturday that the U.S. would redeploy all of the nearly 1,000 U.S. troops in Syria to Iraq.
