U.S. Treasury Targets Pair Of Qataris Suspected Of Funding Terrorists

The U.S. Treasury Dept. has imposed sanctions on two Qatar-based financiers for supporting Al-Qaida, reports the New York Times.
Treasury identified one as Sa’d bin Sa’d Muhammad Shariyan al-Ka’bi. He was allegedly involved in fundraising and collecting ransoms for Nusra Front, Al-Qaida's affiliate in Syria.
The other named is Abd al-Latif Bin ’Abdallah Salih Muhammad al-Kawari. He is accused of collecting financial support for Al-Qaida and acting as a security official for...
