U.S. officials in Bangkok have confirmed that the political situation in Thailand will not affect the annual joint Cobra Gold military exercises, reports the Bangkok Post.
Personnel from 29 countries will take part in the drills in Thailand next month, Patrick Murphy, the charge d'affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, commented after meeting with top defense and political leaders in the capital.
