The U.S. State Dept. has approved the potential sale of Predator unmanned aerial aircraft to the United Kingdom, reports the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
The proposed US$1 billion deal covers 16 Certifiable Predator B UAVs with an option for an additional 10, as well as up to 12 ground stations and related equipment and training, said a DSCA release on Wednesday.
