The U.S. State Dept. has approved a potential major Foreign Military Sale of precision-guided munitions to Saudi Arabia worth US$1.29 billion, reports the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
The agency notified lawmakers about the approval on Friday. The deal can move forward unless Congress rejects it within 30 days.
