U.S. State Dept. Clears Potential Upgrading Of Fighter Fleet

The U.S. State Dept. has given its OK to a potential deal that would upgrade South Korea's KF-16 fleet, reports Defense News.
The possible deal covers avionics, weapons and active electronically scanned array radar upgrades for South Korea's 134 KF-16C/D Block 52 aircraft, announced the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency on Wednesday.
South Korea also has requested training weapons and precision weapons, including laser-guided bombs and bomb tail kits, reported Reuters....
