U.S. Special Operations Forces Help Keep Pressure On LRA Leader

Around 100 U.S. special operators are taking part in the hunt for Joseph Kony, leader of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), reports the New York Times.

Working out of a forward operating base in Obo, Central African Republic, the detachment with Green Berets and Navy SEALs insist this is an "advise and assist" mission and say they will not participate in actual combat.
