U.S., South Korean Forces Take Part In Annual Air Defense Drill

The U.S. and South Korea have kicked off a major annual air defense exercise, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).

This portion of the Vigilant Ace exercise runs from Nov. 30 to Dec. 5 at Osan Air Force Base. Drills will involve simulating strikes on mobile missile launchers, radar systems and other key military facilities, said a military official.

Around 450 U.S. military personnel as well as F-16, KF-16, F-15K aircraft and an EA-18G Growler are taking part.
