The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency has officially announced that South Korea is seeking to buy cluster munitions from the United States.
The potential US$325 million deal includes 367 CBU-105D/B Wind-Corrected Munition Dispenser (WCMD) Sensor-Fuzed Weapons; 28 captive air training missiles; seven dummy air training missiles; and 18 spare tails kits; as well as associated parts, logistical support and training, according to an agency release on Monday.
