U.S. Seahawk Beats Out European Competition

The Australian government has selected the U.S. MH-60R Seahawk helicopter for a new fleet of multirole naval combat aircraft, reports Lockheed Martin, which is a partner in the program.
Australia signed a letter of acceptance with the U.S. Navy for the helicopters earlier this week. The aircraft are being acquired under the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program.
