U.S. To Replenish Iron Dome Interceptor Stocks

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says that work is underway to replenish Israel's inventory of interceptors after last month's conflict with Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip, reports the Times of Israel.

On June 17, Austin said the Pentagon would soon send Congress a request for more Iron Dome missiles. Details of the request were still be worked out, he said during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the Defense Dept.'s fiscal 2022 budget request.
