U.S. Reaches Deals On Supply Routes Into Afghanistan

Gen. David Petraeus, the head of U.S. Central Command, announced that the U.S. military has struck deals for supply routes through central Asia into Afghanistan, the Washington Post reports.
During an eight-day trip, the general stopped in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgystan.
One possible route includes train and truck convoys through Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, said a military official.
