Top British and U.S. defense officials have finalized an agreement that will permit U.S. warships and aircraft to support the first operational deployment of the Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier, reports the service.
The agreement, signed by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace and former acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, enables Marine F-35B fighters to operate from HMS Queen Elizabeth during her first deployment later this year.
