U.S. Navy 'Seabees' Unit Gets Shown Door After $5 Million Of Construction Aid

A U.S. Navy humanitarian aid unit has been asked to leave Cambodia, says the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Pehn, as reported by the Cambodia Daily.

The Cambodian government last week notified the embassy that it was postponing indefinitely the activities of the U.S. Navy Mobile Construction Battalion, widely known as the Seabees, said the embassy on Monday.

This will mean the cancellation of 20 planned construction projects, including schools and hospitals, according to the embassy...
