U.S. Naval, Coast Guard Personnel Assist In Maritime Security Training

Cape Verdean coast guardsmen have just completed nearly a month of joint training with personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy, reports the U.S. Africa Command.
Six personnel from Cape Verde's coast guard and maritime and judicial police took part in the African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) operations with eight members of a U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement detachment and sailors from the frigate USS Simpson.
