U.S. Military Bringing In 24 Apaches; Gunships To Be Split Between Camp Humphreys, Suwon Air Base

The U.S. Army says it is going to deploy two dozen 24 Apache gunships to South Korea by next month, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).

Twenty-four AH-64D Apaches will gradually replace 30 OH-58D Kiowas by February as part of a scheduled rotational deployment, said U.S. Forces Korea and South Korea's Ministry of National Defense in a joint statement on Monday.
