U.S. Marines Order More Canadian LAVs

General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada says it has been awarded a $35.5 million contract to produce 24 Light Armored Vehicles (LAV-A2) for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Production of the Canadian eight-wheeled amphibious vehicle will take place in London, Ontario, said company officials. Work is scheduled to be completed by April 2012.
