Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces (GSDF) personnel have kicked off a bilateral field training exercise with U.S. Marines and sailors in southern Japan, reports the Marine Corps News.
About 200 troops from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, as well as attachments from Combat Logistics Battalion 31 and the command element, are taking part in the annual training.
