U.S. Marines and Mozambican troops are beginning a bilateral drill in Mozambique this week, reports the Marine Corps News.
The 10-day Shared Accord drills are designed to help prepare Mozambican forces for regional peacekeeping duties.
More than 700 U.S. Marines are taking part in the training to improve the tactical and technical proficiency of the Mozambican personnel.
