U.S. Marines Assist In Non-Lethal Military Training

Three U.S. Marines have returned from Liberia after training about 220 Liberian soldiers in non-lethal weapons skills, reports U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
The Marines from Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12 were deployed as part of Operation Onward Liberty, a State Dept.-sponsored mission to rebuild Liberia's military.
