The Australian military has decided to buy the U.S.-made MH-60R Seahawk for its naval combat helicopter program, reports the Australian.
The military leadership called the Seahawk the best choice for the navy's new anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter, saying it represents a cheaper, risk-free solution compared to its competitor, the European NH90 naval frigate helicopter (NFH).
