A pair U.S. military liaison officers has returned to Pakistan as part of efforts to improve coordination between the governments, reports the American Forces Press Service.
The Pakistani government had requested that the officers return, said a Pentagon spokesman.
The spokesman denied published accounts suggesting U.S. trainers were again in Pakistan, noted the Nation (Pakistan).
