U.S.-Led Forces Kill Pair Of Taliban Commanders

Coalition forces say they killed two Taliban commanders in Afghanistan Wednesday, Bloomberg News reports.
A target airstrike reportedly killed Mullah Patang in Kapisa province along with 18 other militants. Patang is considered responsible for "roadside bombings and direct attacks against civilians," according to a Pentagon spokesman.
Officials are investigating claims that 25 civilians were killed in the operation, the spokesman said.
