U.S. Government Charges 2 Americans In Attempted Gambian Coup

U.S. federal prosecutors have filed charges against two American citizens of Gambian descent for alleged involvement in an attempted coup last week in Gambia, reports ABC News.

Charges were filed on Monday in Baltimore and Minneapolis against Cherno Njie, 57, of Austin, Texas, and Papa Faal, 46, of Brooklyn Center, Minn.
