U.S. General Named To Head Special Operations HQ In Belgium

A U.S. Air Force general has been tapped as the new commander of NATO's Special Operations Headquarters in Belgium, the Air Force Times reports.

Maj. Gen. Frank Kisner has also been nominated for a third star, according to a Pentagon statement. The moves require Senate confirmation.

Kisner currently serves as commander of Special Operations Command Europe/director of Special Operations, U.S. European Command, in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany.
