The U.S. Army has turned over an observation post near the Pakistani border to Afghan forces, reports the American Forces Press Service.
Observation Post Mace is the northernmost observation post in Afghanistan's Kunar Province, which borders Pakistan. It has become the first significant installation in the province under complete Afghan control.
