A local Yemeni official says a U.S. drone strike has killed two suspected members of Al-Qaida, reports Agence France-Presse.
A missile fired from a U.S. unmanned aerial vehicle hit a militant vehicle overnight on the outskirts of the city of Marib, said the official on Tuesday.
Marib province has seen more fighting in recent weeks as the Saudi-led coalition and loyalist troops are pressing their offensive against Houthi rebels.
