American and Somali military forces made strikes against an Al-Shabaab command post in Somalia over the weekend, says the Pentagon, as reported by Deutsche Welle.
Sunday's operation targeted a primary training and command centers in the Middle Juba region near Sakow, about 185 miles southwest of the capital, Mogadishu, said the Pentagon.
Somali special operations troops were backed by an airstrike from a U.S. unmanned aircraft, reported CNN.
