The U.S. government has donated US$1 million worth of military equipment to the Moldovan army, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The equipment includes tractors, dump trucks, passenger cars, ambulances, pickup trucks, off-road vehicles and refrigerators, said Moldovan officials.
The U.S. will continue to back Moldova in an attempt to strengthen peace and security in the region, said U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Asif Chaudhry.
