U.S. Defense Chief Pays Visit As President Heads To Beijing

Gen. Mark Milley became the first chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to visit Indonesia since 2008 as part of efforts to shore up ties in the region, reports the Australian Broadcasting Corp.

Milley met with his Indonesian counterpart, Gen. Andika Perkasa, and warned of growing Chinese aggression in the region. He called Indonesia a key regional partner.
