U.S. Bases At Ramstein, Stuttgart Involved In Drone Attacks, Say Local Reports

The German government has skirted around its response to reports that U.S. drone operations in Africa are being directed from bases in Germany, Deutsche Welle reports.
Drone usage is controversial in Germany.
According to German TV news show Panorama and the daily newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung, contact between a pilot in the U.S. and a drone in Africa is relayed through a satellite facility at the U.S. Air Force base at Ramstein.
