U.S. Army Sending Fort Carson Armored BCT To Europe For 9 Months

The U.S. Army has announced the first armored brigade combat team (BCT) that will deploy to Europe this winter as part of a new rotation schedule, reports the Army Times.

Around 4,000 troops from the 3rd BCT, 4th Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, Colo., will head to Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
