A U.S. military helicopter taking part in a drill started a blaze at a firing range in South Korea, reports the Stars and Stripes.
The OH-58 Kiowa was firing munitions Tuesday at the Rodriguez Live-Fire Range in Gyeonggi province when the fire broke out and spread to the mountainside, according to the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division.
Firefighting helicopters were delayed by weather conditions, said a spokesman for the unit.
