U.S. Armored Vehicle Damaged In Roadside Bombing

A U.S. armored vehicle has been damaged in a bombing attack outside of a firing range in southwestern Niger, reports the U.S. Africa Command.
On Saturday, an American Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) set off an improvised explosive device while entering a firing range near Ouallam.
There were no reported casualties in the attack.
U.S. and Nigerien troops were in the midst of a training exercise when the bomb went off.
