The U.S. Dept. of Defense says it has made about 20 airstrikes in Yemen against Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) targets in recent days, reports Agence France-Presse.
The strikes occurred over the weekend, said a Pentagon spokesman on Monday, without other details.
