U.S. Airborne Network Would Help Monitor N. Korea

A senior U.S. Air Force officer says the service is considering fielding an advanced airborne communications network in South Korea, reports the Korea Times.
The Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) would boost intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities against North Korean threats, said Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Remington, the head of the 7th Air Force, at a conference in Seoul.
