U.S. Air Defense Command Now Working Out Of Yokota Air Base

The U.S. Air Defense Command in Japan has formally begun operations at its new home at Yokota Air Base in western Tokyo, reports the Air Force News Service.

The headquarters, which is responsible for command-and-control operations to defend Japanese airspace, has been moved from Fuchu Air Base, also in the metropolitan Tokyo area.
