U.S. Air Attack Targets Taliban Special Ops Unit In Nangarhar Province

The U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan has targeted the Taliban's elite Red Unit in the eastern Nangarhar province, reports the Khaama Press (Afghanistan).
Nine militants, including two commanders, were killed in the airstrike in the Sherzad district, according to the 201st Silab Corps, which is responsible for the eastern part of Afghanistan.
The militants were from Paktia province and had recently come to Nangarhar to conduct terrorist activities, the corps said.
