Upgrading Contract Let For Army's M270 Rocket Launchers

The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a $27.1 million contract to modernize the service's fleet of M270A1 multiple launch rocket systems, reports the defense firm.
The contract covers the first phase of a three-year development program designed to improve crew protection and update other vehicle systems.
