India has successfully test-fired the Block III variant of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from a range in Chandipur off the Orissa coast, the Press Trust of India reports.
The Block III model of the missile, jointly developed by India and Russia, features advanced guidance systems and upgraded software, said the director of the Integrated Test Range.
The test on Thursday reportedly incorporated high maneuvers at multiple points and a steep dive from high altitude. ...
