USA—Upgraded Airborne Minehunting System Delivered

The U.S. Navy has accepted delivery of its first two AQS-24C airborne minehunting sonar systems, reports Northrop Grumman, the manufacturer. The systems were handed over after the successful completion of shipboard contractor testing and government helicopter testing on the MH-53E platform, said a company release on Wednesday.
