Upgrade Made To Surveillance Seaplane

The Israeli air force has completed an upgrade to its Shachaf (Sea Scan) surveillance seaplanes, reports the Israel Defense Forces.
A new observation system was installed on the aircraft as part of a modernization designed to keep the planes operational for several more years.
A variant of the navy's control and surveillance system was also installed, enabling the aircraft to retain more data onboard and collect information in flight.
